Ingredients

Berry Filling
4 cups of mixed berries (fresh)
1/2 cup applesauce
2 tbsp oats (ground)
Crunchy Crust
1/2 cup oats (ground)
1/2 cup oats (whole)
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter (broken into small pieces)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375°F.
Prepare a 9x9-inch baking pan, coating the bottom with unsalted butter.
Make the filling:
Rinse and drain the berries.
In a small bowl, mix applesauce and ground oats until smooth.
Pour mixture evenly over berries in the pan.
Make the crust:
Mix ground oats, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, and salt using a pastry cutter.
Add in whole oats and combine.
Sprinkle mixture on top of the berries.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
