American Express started off Black History Month with a focus on nutrition and prevention. Soursop has been a staple in many Caribbean islands, it is eaten directly off the tree or traditionally mixed with carnation milk as a creamy and refreshing drink. Soursop is high in vitamin C, calcium and 21 g of fiber in one fruit! It has almost been linked to cancer treatment and prevention in various studies. It taste delicious as well, like a mixture of pineapple and banana. Two drinks were made for them, one with soursop and pineapple juice and a little bit of ginger, the second drink contained soursop and a little bit of coconut milk, which is non dairy and much less calories then the traditional evaporated milk. Over 250 people sampled the drinks and were very intrested in purchasing soursop and trying to rcreate the drinks at home.
